Affiliate Program Policy

Thank you for joining the Hoztlr Affiliate Program. This Affiliate Terms page outlines the terms and conditions (“Terms”) that apply to your participation in our Affiliate Program. Please read these Terms carefully before registering. By signing up for the Hoztlr Affiliate Program, you indicate your acceptance of these Terms and agree to abide by them.

1. Overview of Affiliate Program

Our Affiliate Program is designed to reward you for referring new clients to Hoztlr. You can earn commissions for every eligible sale generated through your unique affiliate link. These Terms set forth the eligibility, payment structure, and conduct guidelines for all affiliates.

2. Commission Structure

Your commission rate is based on the number of sales you generate per month:

• 1-7 Sales per Month: 30% commission on each referral.
• 8-15 Sales per Month: 40% commission on each referral.
• 16+ Sales per Month: 50% commission on each referral.

Note: Only new clients are eligible for commission payments. Renewals or additional purchases by existing clients do not qualify for additional commissions.

3. Products Eligible for Commission

Commissions apply to hosting plans and selected add-ons. Non-commissionable items include:

• Domain name registrations and renewals
• SSL certificates
• Custom or one-time service fees

4. Cookie Tracking and Attribution

Each affiliate link contains a unique identifier to track referrals. When someone clicks on your affiliate link, a tracking cookie is set in their browser with a 365-day duration. You are eligible to receive commissions if the referred customer completes a purchase within this period.

• If a customer clicks multiple affiliate links, the last click before purchase will determine the affiliate eligible for commission.
• Affiliates are responsible for ensuring their tracking link is correct; Hoztlr is not responsible for misattribution due to errors in affiliate link setup.

5. Payment Terms

• Sign-Up Bonus: New affiliates receive a £4 sign-up bonus credited upon approval.
• Minimum Payout Threshold: £25
• Payment Schedule: Commissions are paid 30 days after the eligible sale, provided the account reaches the minimum payout threshold.
• Payout Methods: Bank Transfer, PayPal, or Stripe.

Important: Ensure your payment details are accurate. Hoztlr is not responsible for delayed or lost payments due to incorrect information. Any costs associated with receiving international payments, such as transfer fees, are the affiliate’s responsibility.

6. Reversals and Chargebacks

Commissions may be reversed under the following conditions:

• The referred customer cancels or requests a refund within 30 days of purchase.
• The transaction is determined to be fraudulent.
• The customer downgrades or modifies their service, resulting in a reduced payment amount.

If a reversal occurs after commission payment, Hoztlr reserves the right to adjust the affiliate’s future payouts to account for the reversal.

7. Marketing and Compliance Guidelines

Affiliates must adhere to Hoztlr’s brand guidelines and refrain from using prohibited methods to generate referrals.

7.1. Allowed Practices

• Content Marketing: Blog posts, reviews, and comparisons that are factual, non-misleading, and disclose the affiliate relationship.
• Social Media Promotion: Promoting your affiliate link on social media, provided the content is organic, factual, and adheres to platform rules.
• PPC Advertising: Permitted as long as you do not bid on Hoztlr-branded terms (e.g., “Hoztlr hosting”).

7.2. Prohibited Practices

• Misleading Claims: Affiliates may not make false claims or misrepresent Hoztlr’s services.
• Trademark Infringement: Use of Hoztlr’s name, variations, or misspellings in URLs, PPC ads, or other promotional content is prohibited.
• Incentivized Traffic: Affiliates may not offer cash backs, points, or rewards to encourage users to click affiliate links.
• Spam: No unsolicited emails, bulk messages, or unauthorized forum posts promoting your affiliate link.
• Cookie Stuffing: Setting cookies without an actual user click or using hidden links or iframes to set tracking cookies is strictly prohibited.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in account termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

8. Termination of Affiliate Account

Hoztlr reserves the right to terminate any affiliate account for violations of these Terms or for generating fraudulent or low-quality traffic. Causes for termination may include:

• A pattern of high refund or chargeback rates.
• Use of unauthorized or unethical promotional methods.
• Misrepresentation of Hoztlr’s services.

9. Account Deactivation

Inactive affiliate accounts (no new referrals for 12 months) may be deactivated. If you wish to discontinue participation, simply cease promoting your affiliate link.

10. Modification of Terms

Hoztlr reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Affiliates will be notified of any material changes, and your continued participation in the program will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Confidentiality and Data Protection

As an affiliate, you may have access to confidential information. By participating, you agree to maintain confidentiality and not disclose any sensitive data related to Hoztlr’s business practices, pricing, or customer data.

Data Protection: Hoztlr complies with all applicable data protection laws, and affiliates are expected to respect customer privacy by handling personal data responsibly.

12. Limitation of Liability

Hoztlr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits) arising from the Affiliate Program, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Hoztlr’s liability to affiliates is limited to the total amount of commission earned by the affiliate in the six months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
